We’re looking for a skilled, reliable professional who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately—whether it’s for full mechanical work or smaller repair jobs.
Who We're Looking For
We're open to candidates with different specialties, but everyone must have hands-on experience and be able to work independently without needing training.
We’re seeking:
- A Highly Experienced Watchmaker – someone efficient and confident in handling complex mechanical jobs, from full overhauls to movement troubleshooting and refinishing.
- An Experienced Technician or Assistant – someone able to manage smaller tasks like battery changes, pressure testing, part replacements, movement replacements, and other standard services with speed and precision.
- Please note: 1099 contractors must be based locally.
What You’ll Do
- Perform independent repair work on luxury mechanical, automatic, or quartz watches
- Handle case refinishing, testing, diagnostics, and detailed service documentation
- Use professional-grade tools and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Keep pace with workflow and meet reasonable deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal watchmaking training or certifications (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, CW21, Rolex Level 30, Omega OWME 1120) are a plus
- However, certification is not required if you have strong experience and demonstrated ability
- Familiarity with luxury brands preferred (e.g., Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, steady hands, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, troubleshoot, and work unsupervised
What You Must Bring
- Prior hands-on experience (bench work required — no trainees at this time)
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to solve problems without supervision
- Familiarity with high-end brands (e.g., Rolex, Omega, Breitling, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and self-management
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
